2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service, using this website, or otherwise engaging with Detailing By Dave Ltd, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

3. Bookings and Quotes

Quotes are provided based on the information supplied about your vehicle at the time of enquiry. The final price may be adjusted if the vehicle's actual condition differs materially from what was described.

  • Bookings are confirmed once a date, time and location have been agreed with both parties.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notice given wherever possible.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation charge.

4. Service Delivery

As a mobile detailing service, we require reasonable access to the vehicle and, where applicable, a nearby water and power source. Access issues on the day may result in the appointment being rescheduled.

We take reasonable care to inspect each vehicle before starting work and will flag any pre-existing damage or concerns before beginning. Vehicles with significant pre-existing damage, mechanical faults or excessive contamination may incur an adjusted price or be declined at our discretion.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods confirmed at the time of booking. Prices quoted are inclusive of all charges unless stated otherwise.

6. Liability

We carry out all work with care and using appropriate professional products. However:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects identified and recorded before work begins.
  • We are not responsible for the failure of aftermarket modifications, loose trim, or existing coatings that may be affected by standard detailing processes.
  • Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the service provided.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for removing valuable or personal items from the vehicle before the appointment and for confirming that you, or an authorised representative, will be able to grant access to the vehicle at the agreed time.

8. Satisfaction and Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the standard of work carried out, please contact us within 48 hours of the appointment so that we can review and address the issue directly.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
